Last Thursday, I bought a 10-game pack for the upcoming Blue Jackets season. I'm now a "season ticket" holder. This makes me more happy that is reasonable.

I should scan the patch that came in my kit and post the image. Or take a pic of it with the webcam. Something.

First game on the package is the Philly game on the 25th. So psyched

• Tonight was the Blue Jackets' home opener. They won 5-3, but started with a 4 goal lead. A nailbiter. But Nikita Filatov got his first goal in his first game, and Voracek added his second, so the rookie situation is looking good. And Nash potted two to return to his rightful position as team leader.

So, Denis starts out giving up 4 goals on 10 shots in the first period. They come out for the second, and they put LeClaire in net. He stops all 16 shots he faces.
